Floor Hockey - (Team & Individual Sports)
During this unit students will learn the rules, skills, and concepts of floor hockey through team practice and competition. The focus will be on skill improvement and game understanding, while also emphasizing sportsmanship and safety. Weight Room Activities - (Fitness) During this unit students will have the option of using the weight room or group/cardiovascular exercise activities in the fitness room. Weight room workouts will include concepts of strength training and functional fitness, allowing students to build knowledge within the fitness category or learn new concepts. Activities in the fitness room will include TRX, step aerobics, zumba, and more. Students will be able to choose options throughout the unit to meet their individual goals.
