Basketball - (Team & Individual Sports)
During this unit students will learn the rules, skills, and concepts of basketball through team practice and competition. The focus will be on skill improvement and game understanding, while also emphasizing fitness concepts including cardiovasucalt benefits and effort.
Weight Room Activities - (Fitness)
During this unit students will have access to all fitness concepts learned throughout the semester, including weight training, group exercises, cardiovascular endurance, and more Weight room workouts will include concepts of strength training and functional fitness, allowing students to build off previous work within the fitness category or learn new concepts. Students will be able to choose options within the weight room unit to meet their individual goals.
