Strength Training - (Fitness)
Students will learn basic strength training concepts with a concentration on functional fitness and foundational multi-joint movements. During the unit students will learn how to perform the core movements and practice them within workouts of their choice.
Bowling - (Recreational Activities)
During this unit students will learn the rules, scoring, and game play of bowling. The focus will be on learning the basics of this lifelong activity, and how students can participate in it after their time in high school.
Spin Cycling - (Fitness)
During this unit students will have access to various spin cycle workouts in the fitness room. Workouts will emphasize cardiovascular endurance. Bikes are limited, students may use other cardio equipment if all bikes are occupied.
