Flag Football - (Team & Individual Sports)
Students will learn the basic rules, positions, skills, and strategies of football. The focus of the unit will be on effort and skill practice and improvement. This activity takes place predominately outdoors; students should be prepared to be outside no matter the weather conditions!
Bowling - (Recreation)
During this unit students will learn the rules, scoring, and game play of bowling. The focus will be on learning the basics of this lifelong activity, and how students can participate in it after their time in high school.
Flexibility - (Fitness)
Students will explore activities that help develop and maintain flexibility. Yoga will be the primary activity practiced, however, other activities will include relaxation techniques, mobility through foam rolling, and proper warm-up routines.
