Soccer - (Team & Individual Sports)
Students will learn the basic rules and skills of the game of soccer through game play and skill development activities. The focus will be on skill improvement, game understanding, and effort. Soccer will take place indoors and outdoors, be prepared for both!
Strength Training - (Fitness)
Students will learn basic strength training concepts with a concentration on functional fitness and foundational multi-joint movements. During the unit students will learn how to perform the core movements and practice them within workouts of their choice.
Yoga - (Fitness)
Students will participate in beginners level yoga programs with routines emphasizing strength training, flexibility, and stress reduction through breathing exercises and guided meditation.
