This cycle there are 5 offerings:
Weightlifting: Students will complete workouts from any of the PLT4M & PE developed strength training programs to complete workouts in their area of focus and interest.
Yoga: Students will follow the yoga program on PLT4M to develop an understanding of the practice of yoga and how it benefits their wellness. Reminder: All students need to log their workout each day!
Walking: Students will learn how a consistent walking program helps to improve their cardiovascular fitness. Students will use the "Map my Run" app to log their workouts and track progress.
Broomball: Students will be introduced to the game of broomball and learn how this recreational activity can be used outside the classroom.
Table Tennis: Students will be introduced to the game of table tennis and learn how this recreational activity can be used outside the classroom as a lifelong activity.
Although all units have specific objectives, each units will cover the themes of physical, emotional, social, intellectual, & spiritual wellness.
